It’s a proud day to be a member  of Besser Credit Union-

President Bob Grochowski & CEO Nancy Montie,  stand by the new (Echo Seven – emergency vehicle) in the unveiling ceremony held at the public safety building Thursday afternoon. The vehicle was originally repossessed by the credit union and then donated to the Alpena Fire Dept. for this program. Per Montie “We took an unfortunate situation and turned it into a positive one for the residents of Maple Ridge, Wilson, Long Rapids and Green townships”. The vehicle will be used as a first responder emergency non transporting advanced life support unit. It will allow paramedic services to be provided to these outlying areas before Ambulance service can arrive . This means residents will receive faster paramedic assistance which can mean the difference between life, death or other serious complications. Besser Credit Union is very  proud to be part of this worthwhile program and to have this opportunity to give back to residents of Alpena County.
